The Lancaster Farmers Market Season starts May 1st and runs until the last Saturday in October. Located on Broad Street, between Main and Wheeling. Hours are: Saturday: 8 am - 1 pm, Wednesday 10am-2pm If you've never been to the farmers market take time to read our blog from last September! You might find some helpful hints. See you there! |
Finagle This Bagel what you need 1 American Cheese Singles 1/2 of a plain bagel (3 inch), toasted 6 slices Deli Ham 1 curly leafy lettuce leaf 1 Red pepper strip 2 stuffed green olive slices 12 Pretzel sticks CUT 2-1/2-inch circle from center of Cheese Singles; discard trimmings. Cover bagel half with meat, lettuce andCheese. ADD pepper strip for a smile and olives for the eyes. ARRANGE pretzels around bagel half to resemble the sun's rays We're always looking for more recipes so please send some in! |
Ladies Night Out Shop Hop On Friday, October 1st some downtown shops and restaurants will be having a Ladies Night! Each shop will have flyers with a monopoly card on the back. Ladies can "shop hop" to each store on the monopoly board then have that store checked off. If you complete the board turn it in for a drawing. The winner of the drawing will receive gift certificates of each of the participating stores! Each store will also be giving away something free to pamper the ladies as they stop in.Tupperware, 30 sec. mini massages etc. So gather up the girls and go shopping! |

5th Annual Lego Tournament On Monday, September 20th from 6:00pm - 7:00pm the Fairfield County Library is hosting a Lego Tournament! Children ages 6-13 can bring their Legos to the 2nd floor at 6:00 p.m. to create their best design. Creations will be judged on complexity, originality, and realism at 7:00 p.m. Please, no pre-assembled structures. No registration is necessary. Prizes provided by the Friends of the Library. |
Outdoor Fun Day at Alley Park Saturday, September 4th from 1pm-6pm. The outdoor education staff will be teaching and leading archery, canoeing, hikes, fishing, crafts, and more for ALL Ages. The day will end with a bonfire, hot dogs and smores. $3.00 to pre register or $4.00 per person at the registration table. Come join in the fun!! |
Frontier Spirit 1799 Saturday, September 25th and Sunday, September 26th. Open from 11am – 5pm both days at Alley Park! Relieve the late 1700's and early 1800's as the pioneers explored and settled the Hocking area. Demonstrations of cooking, soap making, and more. The Possibility of disAbility Class Thursday, September 30th from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Fountain Square Building - 108 West Main Street. This class is designed to to meet the information needs of parents of children with disabilities. Program is free and open to the public. Registration is requested to attend.
